Abstract

Subarachnoid hemorrhage due to ruptured aneurysm accounts for 2% of non-traumatic intracranial hemorrhage in infants.
We herein report an infant case of ruptured intracranial aneurysm in MCA. In addition to MRA, a low attenuation area on pre-contrast CT images and a signal void on T2-weighted images of MRI were useful for depicting the aneurysm within the subarachnoid hemorrhage.
