Abstract
@@Diffusion tensor imagingGDTIHtractography to elucidate the course of the pyramidal and sensory tracts has recently become feasible for routine clinical practice. Typical imaging time for DTI in our institute is usually within ten minutes, and postprocessing of the acquired data to generate preliminary results for presurgical planning takes only 15 to 20 minutes. This brief review will describe DTI methodology, optimization of the image quality and data postprocessing, and utilization of the data for patient care.
