Abstract
An 11-year-old girl was admitted for lower abdominal pain. Abdominal US and CT showed a 2×2cm cystic mass in the pelvis. She had been admitted for acute appendicitis and treated conservatively at 10 years of age. The abdominal CT showed a 5×5cm cystic mass that was suspected to be an ovarian cyst at that time. Under the diagnosis of ovarian cyst torsion and chronic appendicitis, we planned a laparoscopic operation. Laparoscopic findings revealed a tumor that adhered to the back of her uterus. The pathological diagnosis was omental panniculitis.
